MERIT is seeking a Graphic Designer that will complete the day-to-day tasks of any/all graphic needs and is responsible for designing and mocking brochures/collateral pieces (both electronic and print-ready), trade show booths, social graphics, website pages, branding PPT decks and Word proposals, creating basic videos, and any other assigned tasks. This is a fully remote, full-time US-based role.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(Other duties may be assigned.)Conceptualize, design, and implement creative campaigns focused on promoting and building brand awareness, and driving user experience and engagement.Develop overall layout and design for brochures/collateral pieces, trade show booths, website pages, social graphics, and PPT decks.Effectively transform data, diagrams, and text into visual graphics / infographics. Help make complex ideas more understandable.Follow MERIT brand guidelines and collaborate with the team to ensure consistency across designs. Also explore new executions of the brand.Execute projects with attention to detail while staying organized. Ability to multi-task with an understanding that priorities and timelines shift.Utilize practical knowledge of basic photographic and video production principles.Drive creative storytelling concepts through visual design and integrate concepts into MERIT’s overall objectives.Stay on top of creative design trends, insights, and best practices.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and Experience:Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.Minimum of 3-5 years of prior B2B creative experience (healthcare and/or pharma experience is a plus but not required).Software Proficiencies:Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.Microsoft Office Suite including PPT and Word.Video software of choice such as Adobe After Effects, Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, etc.Familiarity with WordPress and HTML/CSS coding experience is preferred, but not required.Other Skills and Abilities:Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to follow direction, assess company needs, and work independently. Computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ability to learn company-specific software. Must be able to project a professional attitude and image appropriate for the work environment.Ability to participate and contribute in a team environment as a team member.
