DescriptionThe Marketing and Communications function drives unified marketing, communications, and design strategies across the company that help us leverage and enhance the strength of our brand for independent distributor members, manufacturer supplier partners, associates, and other stakeholders, enabling our shared mission to grow and prosper.The Junior Graphic Designer supports AD’s corporate marketing and communications initiatives through the development and implementation of compelling visuals and videos to be used internally and externally to further AD’s brand.Primary Responsibilities:Collaborate on the production and own the editing of AD videos. Includes creation of graphic elements, music selection, and video editing.Support the development of marketing collateral and PowerPoint slides to be used by AD’s business development team, with graphics and imagery.Develop social media, email marketing, and web graphic templates to be used cross-departmentally. Ensure templates are organized and stored in a central location and communicate to marketing stakeholders when new templates are available.Develop AD’s meeting program brochures including cover design, layout, and image selection.Support AD’s meetings team with design of onsite signage such as meterboards, directional signage, promotion of AD booths, etc.Support AD’s marketing, divisional and programs teams with design support as it relates to slide graphics, case studies, one-pagers, web graphics, etc.Other ad hoc design projects, duties and responsibilities as needed.RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong graphic design skills and ability to convey messaging through visual media.Strong video editing skills.Ability to adjust design style to different projects and audiences.Ability to understand a company’s brand aesthetic and convey that in different projects, while innovating and providing forward-thinking visuals.Ability to balance multiple requests and turn around designs in a fast-paced environment with quick deadlines.Ability to handle feedback constructively and implement feedback into designs/videos.Must be able to understand how singular design pieces fit into AD’s overall brand experience.Strong project management and organizational skills.Strong understanding of current design trends in and out of a specific industry.Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.Fluent in Adobe Premier Pro, or other video editing software.Fluent in Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint (operating in slide master, template development, animation development).Excellent interpersonal skills and upbeat, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.Keen attention to detail.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing or related fields preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.1-3 years of graphic design and video editing in an in-house or agency setting experience preferred.Additional Comments:Travel: MinimalBusiness hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. although work outside of these hours may be requiredThe position is based out of our corporate office in Wayne, PA, where we have a hybrid work schedule (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays in office with Mondays and Fridays remote)
