Apex Systems is looking for a Marketing Consultant for a local client based in Overland Park, Kansas, willing to go onsite 3 days a week.The client is seeking an experienced Virtual Event Marketing Manager to join their team. This role will focus on building awareness for products and services through strategic event marketing campaigns, with a particular emphasis on virtual events and webinars. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, with a knack for both day-to-day execution and long-term strategy.Role:
This is a year-long, full-time contractor position responsible for managing project delivery for virtual events and webinar projects with cross-functional project teams. The Project Manager will be responsible for organizing and documenting project work and program documents.Key Responsibilities:
Experience in B2B marketing and experience in virtual events.Strong Project Management skill set.Proficient in Microsoft 365 with daily practice in Excel and PowerPoint.Supports end-to-end project management of webinars, ensuring all timelines and objectives are managed and met. Work with cross-functional teams such as Product Marketing, Campaigns, Brand, Social, Paid Media to manage tasks and get work completed.Document completed project work in program guides, project plans, and performance reporting.Qualifications:
Strong project management experience, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience using SalesForce, Webex, and On24.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Effective time management abilities and the capacity to meet deadlines.Ability to adapt quickly to various situations and work well in a team environment.Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or years in related work experience.Work Experience:
5 years of experience with project management.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
