JSA is hiring for a

Marketing Representative

who contributes to the growth and business reach of the company. In this role you will interact with agents on a regular basis, fostering relationships between in-house underwriters and promote the tenets and key values of JSA's business model. Agency visits, regional conferences and events, and marketing calls are also integral to the success of a marketing representative at JSA. If you have excellent organization and communication skills, are detail-oriented and are comfortable working in a fast-paced financial marketing environment, we'd love to hear from you!

**This position will be responsible for the marketing territory of NC, SC and GA. Candidate(s) must be able to conduct marketing visits to agents/agencies within this region.**

Position Description:

The

Marketing Representative

will be responsible for driving JSA brand and product awareness within an assigned geographic territory. This will be accomplished through on-site, face-to-face meetings in agent's offices, through attendance at industry conferences and other events, and through other communication and distribution of marketing collateral in order to drive sales. Foster relationships with agents and serve as liaison between agents and JSA underwriters and other staff. Efficient and self-motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and contribute to not only the JSA culture, but also state and industry Insurance Associations. Essential Responsibilities;

Foster strong business relationships with existing and prospective customers (insurance agents)

Meet or exceed territory objectives for each product category and in target accounts; meet or exceed territory market share objectives

Develop and implement with Leader's approval, marketing growth strategies

Develop robust knowledge of all product lines/services, including industry trends, competition, and new opportunities

Provide high quality assistance to existing customers

Track & monitor customer engagements through digital systems

Develop in-depth knowledge of JSA's website agent resources in order to educate and assist customers using the website

Generate new customers through conventions, campaigns, meetings, emails, conferences, etc.

Improve performance of business through thorough understanding of agency/industry demands

Attend conventions/expos/trade shows

Contact and meet potential clients on a regular basis for new opportunities

Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing agencies/clients for repeat business

Work closely with marketing colleagues to create programs and generate ideas for new opportunities

All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience

Insurance industry experience preferred

2 - 5 years successful sales or marketing experience or demonstrated success in equivalent work experience

Strong analytical skills necessary to condense and interpret digital data and statistics

Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales and marketing plan

Travel required within Territory and to national/area industry events and conventions

Proficient in or ability to quickly learn G-Suite products and social media platforms

Must be organized, self-motivated, able to prioritize and work independently on projects

Must possess a valid driver's license with good driving record

Ability to work evenings and weekends, when necessary

Ability to maintain confidentiality
