We are looking for an experienced Marketing Specialst with a proven track record of organizing marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as brainstorming fresh strategies.

Responsibilities

Execute elements of the marketing strategy

Project manage complex marketing initiatives

Lead the development of unique and exceptional marketing initiatives for Urbana. Create a marketing plan and budget

Execute the full scope of marketing from strategy, vendor meetings, event management, budgeting, recommendations to Executives, creating content, analyzing data and informing retail teams.

Lead the development of marketing and merchandising systems and plans that differentiate Urbana from the competition.

Monitor retail activities for conditions that require immediate management response to protect inventory, cash and physical assets.

Remain in compliance with all city, state and federal regulations. Assist in training all staff on frequently changing regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.

Minimum 5 year experience as a Marketing Director, Communications Director, or Marketing Coordinator, preferably in the retail or cannabis industry

Must be 21 and undergo a background check after hire

Proficiency in: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Suite, Mac Suite, Adobe Illustrator, and In-Design.

Proven multi-tasker, with strict attention to detail

Ability to work a flexible schedule, occasional weekends based on business demands

Ability to:

Understand the store's buying, compliance and safety needs.

Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.

Prioritize and organize.

Follow directions thoroughly.

Work cohesively as part of a team.

Work with minimal supervision.

Maintain confidentiality of vendor information and company information.

Exert physical effort in transporting 5 to 40 pounds.

Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.

Reach heights up to 6 feet.

Remain in a stationary position or stand for 8 hours throughout the work shift.

Satisfactorily communicate with customers, management and co-workers to their understanding.
