Description:Are you a storytelling, visually driven marketer passionate about creating captivating, high-quality content that leaves audiences wanting more?The Springs Resort is seeking an experienced and passionate Content Manager to lead our content production and curation, including social media, website, various marketing channels, and print. This position will report to the Marketing Director. The duties will include developing and executing strategies to highlight products and services, reviewing competitor content, and staying on market trends to identify and execute new content opportunities based on data-backed insights and trends.Our ideal candidate is an experienced content marketing professional with a solid graphic design and writing background, an eye for good visuals, and a firm understanding of content placement specifications.The Content Manager will develop engaging content within established brand guidelines to attract and engage new and returning customers.Responsibilities:Content Strategy and Planning:Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to plan & strategize content curation, focused on achieving broader marketing goals.Set short, and long-term goals for content initiatives to align with the resort's branding and marketing objectives.Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets, covering content conception to completion.Collaborate with the Marketing Director and marketing team to produce high-quality content, emphasizing the resort experience and offerings.Strategize robust content generation plans and tactics for resort events and activities.Execute social strategies campaigns with the Social Media Specialist to meet or exceed established KPIs across our brand's social media presence.Content Curation:Maintain an organized content management system for various content pieces, including photos and video.Curate content for emails and newsletters, incorporating engaging visuals and storytelling narratives to meet or exceed established KPIs and metrics.Curate and deliver engaging, high-quality content regularly for various social platforms, website, newsletters, and promotional materials that meet or exceed established KPIs for performance.Use effective copywriting practices in brand voice, including drafting, editing, proofreading, and updating written content for emails, newsletters, social posts, and web pages.Resort on-property content curation - rack cards, flyers, slide decks, posters.Multimedia Production:Align website, social, video, print, and audio content for consistency and quality.Prepare content for various channels, ensuring a strong web presence and utilizing graphic design skills for photo, video, and graphic content.Oversee and direct contracted content creators for consistent brand representation.Manage professional photography, video shoots, models, and deliverables to capture the essence of the resort experience.Social Media Management:Achieve organic social media metrics for growth, managing and strategizing social media platforms in collaboration with the marketing team to enhance the resort's online presence.Ensure proper engagement with the online community, response to comments, and cultivation of positive relationships with guests and followers.Coordinate with Social Media Specialist to launch engaging digital community initiatives, giveaways, and contests to drive audience participation and brand awareness.Website Management:Front-end web development (WordPress), including content placement and page creation, ensuring the website is consistently updated with fresh and relevant content to meet or exceed established KPIs and conversion rates.Quarterly web optimizations to ensure that images and content are up to date, match the season, and drive the goals of the marketing department.Collaboration and Coordination:Collaborate with marketing, sales, and the groups and events team to align content creation with broader business goals.Oversee influencer and partner collaborations to amplify the resort's presence in the digital space.Branding:Ensure consistent branding across all content channels and materials to maintain a cohesive and recognizable brand identity.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field OR proven experience as a Content Manager or similar role.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and project management experience.Proficient in multimedia production tools, graphic design, and video editing software (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, Premiere Pro).Up-to-date with industry trends and tools.Experience with social media management and analytics tools.Familiarity with SEO best practices.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.Skilled in website CMS platforms like WordPress, able to edit templates, create new pages, and add optimized content.2+ years experience with team and project management.
