As global leaders in translational science, the institute is the first choice for brave and ambitious future markers, using home-grown insights to engage communities of practice in the transformational impact of AI.The Web Design and Content Coordinator will be a versatile architect of the Institute’s landscape, engaged in designing, building and cultivating spaces that spark engagement through a wide array of channels with a wide array of stakeholders. This role will report to the Director of Communications.Position DescriptionPartner with the Director of Communications and the Communications & Marketing Coordinator to position content and community engagement tools effectively throughout the Institute’s digital presence.Play an integral role in curating an ecosystem of multiple content contributors.Build a structure that allows for lab- and platform-specific web instances that remain on-brand while having the ability to tailor content to their intended audience.Working in collaboration with the Director of Communications, build and manage a governance model across the content contribution team that is both effective and efficient.Design and implement a web presence that ushers personalized content and engages community members and partners through integration with an institute-wide CRM solution.Experiment with new content approaches and tools to design and deliver an innovative digital experience, including but not limited to AI solutions.Provide support for Institute events, including event promotion, asset preparation and generation, and post-event analytics review.Manage institute-wide social and web analytics (GA4) and provide recommendations for improvement on a regular basis utilizing data-driven decision-making.Be responsible for other duties as assigned.Basic QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.5+ years of experience in digital communications, web design, web development or related experience is required.Education beyond high school may count toward experience.Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) experience is a must.Proficiency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript is required.Proficiency in Adobe XD/Figma is required.Additional Qualifications and SkillsStrong understanding of responsive design.Familiarity with UX design principles, wireframing and information architecture mapping.Familiarity with web accessibility standards and tools like screen readers, color contrast monitors and accessibility evaluation tools.Some experience working within WordPress.Understanding of digital marketing, including but not limited to SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, and web analytics.Additional InformationThis role is 40 hours per week and is overtime eligible.This role is offered as a hybrid (some combination of onsite and remote) where you are required to be onsite at our Boston, MA based campus 3 days per week.
