Marketing Coordinator -- Camps

will contribute to the execution of the annual go-to-market plan for the Woodward PA location of Woodward's Camps business ('Camps'), champion the Woodward Camps brand and value proposition internally and externally and will be a part of the team that brings the brand promise to live for Woodward campers.Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing - Camps, this position owns the execution of core functions that are essential to the Woodward Camps business and has tremendous ability to influence and impact the Woodward Camp experience for the next generation of action sports enthusiasts. Successful candidates will be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment akin to an entrepreneurial startup. Having an agile mindset is a key pre-requisite: Candidates must be comfortable taking ownership and driving a project that may have reasonable elements of ambiguity, and must be brave enough to ask for help, clarification and/or guidance at an impasse.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field.

Proven experience in marketing coordination, preferably in the sports or events industry.

Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with marketing principles and strategies, preferably digital marketing and campaign management.

Tech Proficiency: Competence in digital marketing platforms, specifically CRM software and/or web development platforms

Experience working with youth, within summer camps, or within a coaching capacity are preferred.

Familiarity with action sports and a passion for the industry.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and marketing software/tools.

Essential Marketing DutiesWebsite Management:Collaborate with the Marketing Director - Camps and Website channel partners to update and maintain the location website with current and relevant information.

Work with channel owners, agency partners, Marketing Director -- Camps to ensure a user-friendly interface and optimize the website for search engines.

Work closely with the content team to create engaging and informative web content.

Athlete and Affiliate Sales:Working with Sports Marketing Director and Marketing Director -- Camps, assist with the development of the annual athlete and affiliate sales plans.

Manage the execution of the athlete and to drive registrations.

Monitor sales performance and implement adjustments to meet or exceed targets.

Athlete Management Plan:Execute the athlete management plan, ensuring a smooth transition of information to the camp programming team.

Provide excellent customer service to athletes and their families, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.

Ensure that the camps operations team has the information they need to execute the athlete activation plan for all scheduled Athletes and VIPs.

Media and Endemic Partnerships:Working with corporate partnerships team, Sports Marketing Director, Marketing Director -- Camps, contribute to the annual strategic partnership strategy by ensuring downstream (camp operations, marketing channel owners) are appraised of partnership obligations and expectations, and proactively providing suggestions and/or creative insights that create value for camps customers, partners and build the Woodward brand.

Manage the calendar of annual media and endemic partnerships.

Supply onsite operations teams with the necessary information and collateral to exceed partner expectations.

Foster relationships with media outlets and endemic partners to enhance the camp's visibility and credibility.

Liaison between Operations Team and Global Marketing:Facilitate communication between the camp's operations team(s) and the global marketing department.

Act as a liaison to ensure that marketing strategies align with on-site operations.

Foster a sense of camaraderie between teams to enhance the overall camp experience.

Contribute to the Annual Go-to-Market Plan:Identify innovative and on-brand opportunities to bring the camp story to life across all channel touchpoints.

Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate these opportunities into the annual go-to-market plan.

Ensure that marketing initiatives align with the overall brand strategy and messaging.
