The Marketing Manager will play a critical role in shaping, protecting and growing the Dairy Farmers of America brand through marketing initiatives that support brand strategy, partnerships, cross collaboration with internal communications, media, social teams and retail brand marketing teams. The ideal candidate has experience developing and executing strategic marketing and media campaigns, is creative and results oriented, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Lead the execution of DFA marketing and media programs from start to finish, partnering with social media and PR team, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration, identification and execution of synergy opportunities across the communications and marketing departmentDrive objective focused marketing plans and tactical executions across various channels and audiences, understanding and considering scalability, key markets and budgets, while ensuring alignment with key stakeholdersPrioritize a constant and consistent understanding of the DFA brand as well as the Cooperative's focus and goals to effectively and impactfully align brand and marketing initiatives and objectivesBecome a DFA brand expert; partner with internal creative team or external partners to manage look, feel and voice within ongoing and future marketing and content development, ensuring consistency and resonanceBuild credit with and support from farmer-owners, business units and partners across the CooperativeDistill reporting and analysis coming out of multiple platforms into key insights to impact future campaign development and go-to marketing strategiesProvide thought leadership throughout Cooperative by defining key problems to solve, provide marketing solutions and identify future growth opportunitiesInspire agency partners and internal creative team to develop differentiated solutions grounded in insightsManage day-to-day external agency relationships, including strategic outputs, timelines, reviews, etc.Manage partnerships, including strategic outputs, timelines, reviews, asset development and handoff, etc.Collaborate with and support sales team in brand building opportunitiesDemonstrate comfort with unfamiliar situations as an opportunity to test and learn to advance and share new learnings to create benchmarks and best practicesBuild and manage marketing budget to maximize spend and deliver resultsPresent ideas and deliverables to internal and external teams, including senior leaders. Communicate marketing activities cross functionally on a regular basis to ensure awareness, integration and support for programs and initiatives. Ensure that both established and agile processes are communicated, understood, and followed by key stakeholdersMonitor consumer and market trends, competitive activities, and industry trends in order to anticipate opportunity and respond with appropriate strategies, tactics and optimizationsThe requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required.Minimum Requirements:Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in marketing, business, advertising or another related field7+ years in marketing or advertising roleExperience developing marketing plans, campaigns and applying understanding to metricsCertification and/or license: n/aKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAble to develop marketing strategy and activation plansStrong analytical, decision-making, influence, presentation and communication skillsAble to build relationships and interface with all levels of individuals internal and external to the organizationAble to make tough, informed decisions quickly to keep performance on trackExcellent organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyAble to lead through personal integrity and diversity of thoughtAction-oriented with the ability to think and react quickly to changing circumstancesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) applications and database experienceUnderstanding of media buying, social platforms and how to use campaign results and actionable learnings preferredMust be able to read, write and speak EnglishAn Equal Opportunity Employer
