Because the little things matter just as much as the big things.We are currently recruiting a Search Engine Marketing Manager to join our growing team partnering with best-in-class active lifestyle, spirits, and tourism brands.The SEM Manager will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid media marketing strategies on behalf of rygr's clients. They will partner with rygr's media and digital operations teams to develop innovative paid search strategies and lead the planning, execution, and optimization of these programs.ResponsibilitiesEstablish strategy and implement, optimize, and manage budgets for paid search, shopping, display, and YouTube campaigns for direct response retail and tourismDevelop advanced keyword campaigns and efficient direct response programs for any given client initiativeDeliver integrated paid search media campaigns with an appreciation for other online and offline channelsEnsure all paid search campaign billings are up to date and all finance queries are followed up in a timely mannerAnalyze paid search campaign performance against client KPI's and report on trends and insights to key stakeholdersSupport in any new business pitches and related work as requiredTrain/educate other rygr media planners and coordinators and strategies, techniques, and trends in paid searchQualificationsBachelor’s Degree2+ years managing digital media campaigns across multiple channelsPlatform certification and previous experience in Google Ads and Google AnalyticsSkillset and ExpectationsComprehensive experience with relevant marketing technology stacks, including but not limited to: Google Analytics and Google Ads – Search Ads, Google Shopping, Google Display Network, and YouTubeStrong working knowledge of Excel and competency in PowerPoint and WordCreate and apply strategies across Google Ads campaigns; including audience targeting, placement strategies, brand safety/exclusions, site list development, and non-branded acquisition approachesStrong grasp over data analysis and measurement and ability to A/B test and identify opportunities for optimization to hit benchmark KPIs and meet client goalsAbility to articulate strategic approaches through verbal, written and visual presentations to clientsExcellent communication skills with an analytical approach to managing dataDetail-oriented with exceptional critical-thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAble to prioritize, multi-task and work under pressureSelf-motivated and excited to take on new challengesAble to work successfully in a team environment that promotes collaboration in addition to confidently working independently and leveraging resources at handThe ExtrasExperience with Microsoft Advertising, Google Merchant Center, Search Ads 360, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, and Amazon Marketing ServicesKnowledge of SEO principals and applicationAn entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job doneGrowth mindset with interest in lifelong learningA sense of humor and love of the outdoorsUnderstanding of rygr's core values: Integrity, Craft, Empathy, Change, StewardshipTravel:

Varies, between 5-10%.Compensation:

$60,000 - $70,000/yr. DOE. rygr's compensation package includes paid vacation and sick leave, paid volunteer time, a wellness stipend, matching 401(k), group healthcare and stipend, professional development support, and a flex time policy.Location:
