As a member of the Irvine, California-based Global Branding and Communications Department at Golden State Foods, the Communications Manager collaborates with the team and the enterprise in the areas of content development, copy writing, project management, social media management, event planning/execution, and other communications tasks and activities, as needed.Responsibilities

Drafts copy for internal/external stories, associate announcements, website and social media content, and other communications materials, as assigned. (40%)Provides project management support by creating/maintaining departmental workflow tracking tools, routing materials for review/feedback, procuring resources/assets, and collaborating with vendors. (25%)Compiles newsletter performance reports, media coverage reports, social media updates, research and other reporting, as assigned. (15%)Supports Global Branding and Communications team in planning and executing materials and production for leadership meetings/conferences, GSF Foundation campaigns, and other internal communications campaigns. (15%)Serves as an active Global Branding and Communications team member, contributing to creative ideation brainstorming, conceptualization, and problem-solving for multiple branding and communications projects and events on an ongoing basis. (5%)Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

BA/BS in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field of study.EXPERIENCE:

Communications, public relations, marketing, or related background with 5 years or more of industry experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Microsoft Office, including proficiency in presentation tools like PowerPoint.Adobe Acrobat.Both PC and MAC platforms.Preferred (not required) experience in:
