Job Description:Department Overview:This role supports the US Compliance Operations and Governance team. The team provides oversight and support for key elements of the US Compliance Program, including:Training, learning & development, and communicationsCompliance-wide frameworks and standards for testing, monitoring, risk assessments, reporting, and other activitiesInternal Audit and regulatory exam management, and ongoing tracking/remediation oversightStrategic, financial planning, and business/operations support for the US Chief Compliance Officer and the US Compliance Senior Management TeamIn addition to a regulatory compliance background, prior experience in the following areas may be helpful in the Banking Compliance Training and Communications Specialist role:Training/learning and developmentEffective learning and development methodsCreating and executing learning strategies and programsDesigning and delivering e-learning courses, workshops, and other trainingsThe above details are specific to the role which is outlined in the general description below.Job Description:The Compliance Governance & Operations Manager leads the development and implementation (or lead support) of enterprise Compliance programs, including frameworks, policies, standards and development of procedures, awareness and specialized training, monitoring, reporting and information, escalation of issues and events.Depth & Scope:Highly seasoned professional role requiring substantial knowledge/expertise in a complex field and knowledge of broader related areasIntegrates knowledge of the enterprise sub-function’s or business line’s overarching strategy in developing solutions across multiple functions or operationsInterprets internal/external business challenges and the industry environment, recommends course of action and best practices to improve products, processes or servicesActs as a technical expert/lead integrating cross-function understanding within their own field of specialty;
