Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Review design goals, develop layouts, and perform computations.Check and revise layouts for manufacturing drawings.Consider DFM and manufacturing capabilities in design projects.Manage the ECR/ECN process and implement ERP data.Provide manufacturing support, investigate root causes, and contribute to new product development.
Required Skills/Competencies:Strong communication and teamwork skills.Creative thinking, problem-solving, and technical writing abilities.Knowledge of ERP Systems, AutoCAD & Solidworks, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Use of Design for Manufacturing principles.Ability to read and interpret engineering documents.Experience in sheet metal fabrication design; plastics experience preferred.
Education and/or Experience:Associate degree (A.A.) from a technical school.Five or more years of related experience or equivalent combination.Experience in a low volume/high mix manufacturing environment desired.Don't miss this opportunity!
