This highly-visible role will focus on partnering with internal collaborators to lead all aspects of the efficient production and maintenance of high-quality presentations for prospect meetings, client meetings, conferences, due diligence presentations and other presentations globally to the institutional and private client channels.Leading a global team, this candidate will partner with members of the HarbourVest product marketing team, key investor relations partners, and other leaders across the organization to ensure that standard content is being used where appropriate to meet the evolving needs of the business. A successful candidate will be able to balance commercial opportunities against process guidelines and brings a problem-solving mentality to all interactions.The ideal candidate is someone who is:Comfortable operating in a fast paced environmentAble to articulate and implement a vision for a teamExceptional at partner managementSkilled at solutioning on the flyCommitted to coaching, managing, and cultivating talentCollaborative by natureWhat you will do:Lead presentations team of 8 team members globallyPartner across the team to uncover opportunities for efficiency and automationOptimize team experience by improving process, automation, resource planning, and prioritizationStrengthen relationships with internal partners to ensure frictionless development of presentationsPartner with team members across the globe to better understand local marketing needs and ensure global coordinationSupervise processes for delivery, maintenance, and updates to presentation materialsUtilize technology, where appropriate, to increase efficiency and global information sharingUnderstand fundraising requirements and priorities and ensure alignment of team projects and resourcesAnd other responsibilities as requiredWhat you bring:Exceptional understanding of the relationship management and institutional fundraising process including: relationship development, consultative approach, customer needs and challenges, and decision making.Solid knowledge of private markets, specifically private equity, infrastructure and private creditFamiliarity and understanding of nuances within private markets clientsFamiliarity with investment concepts and confident with numbers and analysisStrong project manager with proven skills in overseeing multiple prioritiesAbility to independently analyze information and tackle problemsSuperior teamwork skills and the ability to work across functional teams and all levels of the organizationHigh level of initiativeExtremely detail orientedSense of humor, great teammate, energeticEducation Preferred:Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experienceExperience:10+ Years experience with 5-7 years in a management capacity preferred
