this link .Job Description:Fulfills the mission of Norwich University by developing, maintaining and executing the admissions office's recruitment, communication and marketing plan with the purpose of promoting the college's visibility and general recruitment efforts.Essential FunctionsOversees admissions marketing to include setting strategy, goals, budget, deadlines and review of projects.Oversees and maintains the office's communication plan, ensuring timely publication of materials to be shared with senior leadership.Conceives and develops efficient and intuitive marketing strategies, including the creation of new campaigns from conceptualization through analysis to include idea generation, proposal preparation, and overseeing the production process and execution.Conducts market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures.Uses comprehensive research and analysis to expand domestic and international markets.Establishes strategy for communications with public and private high schools, JROTC units and outside agencies to develop a lead source for potential students.Tracks budget spending on marketing materials and projects, including but not limited to vendor fees, item cost, print and postage.Monitors project progress from planning to execution to best ensure projects remain focused, on time and on budget.Compiles data and statistics for preparation of reports and projections by reporting key implementation progress metrics.Collaborates with videographers to create and edit video ads.Supervises and executes admissions inquiry and applicant email and print marketing campaigns, including the creation, editing and sending of emails and print materials to students and families in the recruitment funnel.Uses Technolution's Slate as our CRM for executing and tracking these campaigns.Proofs emails code for style, cross platform functionality, and mobile friendliness to ensure quality.Works with vendors and staff members to oversee digital advertisement campaigns, negotiating contracts specifications, strategies, goals, and establishing and enforcing budgets and timelines.Adds credit funds for mailing to Slate, ensuring mailings are marked with necessary interactions for tracking in Slate and Banner as necessary.Provides advice on marketing and advertising methods for new or existing products or services.Manages planning and ordering of giveaway items and college fair materials, working with the Admissions team to design items and maintain current inventory.Oversees the execution of "Student Search" campaigns using predictive modeling and analytics, managing the datasets in Slate.Analyzes weekly reports to ensure students are opening and engaging with the materials; adjusts messages and strategies as needed and reports changes to the Vice President of Enrollment.Oversees the admissions web pages, providing input on Financial Aid, ROTC, Student Life, Academic and other pages of notable interest to the admissions audience.Assists with web editing, coding and training of staff.Oversees communication replies from email replies, social media groups/chats, and questions received through direct phone or through the Contact Center about the various aspects of the college search/decision process.Represents the University at on and off-campus events including open houses, NU Experience, and NU 101.Creates and updates product and training documentation and provides training to in-house staff.Collaborates with Summer Camps, Esports and other areas of interest to generate and execute a marketing strategy.Other FunctionsAssesses the performance of direct reports and provides frequent feedback to optimize their performance.Maintains confidentiality of sensitive or private information.Communicates with employees, students, and others in a respectful and clear manner.Serves on University committees, councils, workgroups, or other designated bodies as assigned.Achieves, maintains proficiency in, and utilizes computers, telephones, and other job-related equipment, including related systems and software.Speaks, reads, and writes in English.Communicates by telephone, email, letter, in person, or other means or device.Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.Requirements:Bachelor's degree required. Master's preferred.7 years of admissions or related enrollment experience required or experience recruiting for military branches and have served in leadership roles in ROTC programs on college campuses may also be considered.Supervisory experience preferred.Valid driver's license required.Strong interpersonal and communications skills (both written and oral), presentation experience, sales/marketing skills, ability to handle multiple priorities and the ability to work as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment.Prior marketing experience or degree in marketing or related field.Military experience, military school experience or ROTC experience(s) a plus, but not required.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook), HTML and CSS, Technolution's Slate, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Adobe Suites.Able to sit, squat, reach, push, pull, and manipulate related equipment; lift 15 pounds; travel outdoors to various parts of the campus.Work some evening or weekend hours.Travel as needed (public or private transportation).Environmental Conditions:Low level of exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vibrations, and temperature changes.Additional Information:Norwich University is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing a positive education and work environment that recognizes and respects the dignity of all students, faculty and staff.
