Wolf Pack Radio exists online and focuses heavily on experimenting with new styles of journalism through multimedia radio outlets, like Mixcloud, SoundCloud, X (FKA Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. We aim to please our community and listeners by providing them a free service that exposes them to new, underground artists in a freeform and non-commercial format.The Social Media and Event Manager at Wolf Pack Radio is responsible for maintaining Wolf Pack Radio’s online presence and increasing audience engagement while driving more listeners to our stream. The Wolf Pack Radio Social Media and Event Manager has a firm understanding of social media (and the trends/fads associated with social media use), marketing, image awareness, and branding. The Social Media and Event Manager maintains Wolf Pack Radio’s brand while also further developing and building upon the brand. They do this through utilizing social media platforms such as X (FKA Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, and the features that come with those platforms, such as Instagram Story or Facebook live.Responsibilities

Strategically using social media to promote Wolf Pack Radio.Engaging with our audience through social media.Using social media backend analytics and Google analytics to increase our online presence.Assisting the general manager in special event coordination.Helping to grow community outreach and presence.Booking/Coordinating tabling times on campus either outside of the Joe, in the KC, or at Hilliard Plaza.Curating all data about Wolf Pack Radio’s social media engagement at the end of each month.Working with the art director to create social media posts.Required Qualifications

Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno.Candidate must have experience using Facebook, X (FKA Twitter), Instagram, and TikTok.Candidate must have the ability to maintain Wolf Pack Radio’s brand on a weekly basis.Candidate must have the ability to learn on the job.Candidate must have the ability to work with a diverse group of volunteer DJs to promote their shows.Candidate must have excellent communication skills.Candidate must be self-motivated, organized and a creative problem solver.Candidate must take pride in their work and understand the importance of branding and image.Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of WordPress.Knowledge of aesthetical trends in internet/social media posting.Past volunteer with Wolf Pack Radio.Understanding of Reno’s music scene.Schedule

Expected hours to work per week: 15Compensation Grade
