Typical Activities Include:
Accessing/reviewing insurance related laws and regulationsPerforming competitive researchOrganizing/presenting competitive information in a meaningful formatDrafting basic product documents for new programs and creating state required forms to address compliance issuesPreparing support and compliance reviews, including forms checklists and transmittals for form filings, including drafting explanatory languageWorking directly with state filings analystsCorresponding directly with clients on project goals and resultsDrafting form interrogatory responsesRecommending solutions and/or alternatives to clientsKeeping informed on industry trends, changes in the marketplace, etc.Performing peer reviewsAssist in the preparation of proposals for projects to meet clients’ needsPreparing polished, professional, clear reports to present results/informationInvoicing clientsMinimum Requirements
6 years experience with Property & Casualty Forms, Underwriting and/or Regulatory Compliance work.BA/BS DegreeFamiliarity with contract draftingUnderstands complex aspects of underwriting, rating, regulatory compliance and the insurance product.Intermediate Microsoft Excel & Word SkillsVery Good to Excellent Verbal and Written Communication$100,000 - $130,000 a year
