If so, then we invite you to apply to AutoCamp Hospitality Group to join our adventure.As a Group & Event Planning Manager for AutoCamp, your primary role will be ensuring that group and events booked by the Enterprise and Area Sales team are fully detailed and executed, providing our guests with exceptional experiences. You will be the liaison between the seller, the client, and the property, ensuring you capture all pertinent details from the client and communicate those details thoroughly to the property team.Additionally, as a Group & Event Planning Manager, you will be responsible for achieving a booking goal specific to booking all wedding-related group room blocks and wedding-related events specific to your assigned properties. Please Note: Resumes submitted without a cover letter will be crumpled up and used as campfire kindling.RequirementsESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Develop long term and mutually beneficial business relationships with vendors involved in the execution of groups and events at your assigned property(s).Finalize and effectively communicate details of all group and event bookings to include rooming lists, resumes, and BEOs to client and property team.Liaise clients with onsite staff and outside vendors.Book all wedding rooms only group blocks and any wedding events.Meet and exceed quarterly and annual booking goals.Deliver a 5-star experience for potential clients during site visits and FAM trips.Reconcile all group billing, including deposit collection and final invoicing upon group departure.In conjunction with area sales team support, maintain and maximize relationships with the local Chamber of Commerce and Convention/Visitors Bureau.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with AutoCamp and Field Station team members.Represent AutoCamp professionally at all times in all client interactions written, verbally, and in person.Maintain up-to-date awareness of area activities, market trends, and industry events.DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEAt least 3 years prior hotel experience. Sales, catering, or conference services experience preferred.Experience preferably within destination markets.Preferred experience in working within a Sales CRM.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCESRequired: High school diploma or GED.THE RIGHT PERSON WILL…Be detail-oriented with impressive organization skills.Demonstrate the ability to achieve sales goals.Have a track record of developing and maintaining long-term relationships.Possess working knowledge of Cloud Based Applications; knowledge of Google Suite products preferred.Exhibit clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.Have a passion for the great outdoors.Show effective in-person sales presentation skills.Demonstrate thoroughness and an attention to detail.Provide excellent and attentive customer service.Have the ability to solve problems creatively with limited resources; must be a MacGyver.
