In support of strategic enrollment management, the Senior Marketing and Communications Consultant is responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing and communications for assigned university campuses and programs. Working collaboratively with various university partners, this position supports student enrollment and retention by developing strategic marketing communication plans, implementing tactical action plans, establishing goals and measuring results. This position also provides writing support and content creation for various internal and external audiences.Responsibilities:Strategic Communications and Marketing Planning (55%)

- Analyzes strategic enrollment objectives and outlines marketing and communication strategies for both internal and external audiences. Develops, implements and monitors communications and marketing action plans to achieve goals and objectives. Identifies messages, target audiences, budgets, tactics, tracking and timelines.

Content Production (30%)

- Performs a broad range of writing and editorial duties. Writes/edits/produces compelling content for a variety of marketing communications channels, including digital copy, print materials, web content, news stories, and more.

Project Management (10%)

- Builds relationships and works as a member of a team, both inside and outside the department. Manages projects across multiple stakeholders and communicates effectively about status.

Other duties as assigned (5%)

Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (specialty in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent is preferred). 4 years of relevant experience required. Demonstrated experience in developing audience-centric marketing and communications strategies and action plans in alignment with university goals and program objectives. Superb writing and editing skills and a keen sense of marketing messaging. Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to lead and manage relationships and work as a member of a team. Ability to think critically and possess a strong attention to detail. Proven project and time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong organizational skills a must.Desired:Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4-8 years of relevant experience in a marketing/communications position preferred.This is a 3-year term position, hybrid working from the Columbus campus.Please attach a cover letter and updated resume to your application.The pay range for this job profile is $69,400-$91,250.
