Greensboro, NCJob OverviewGeometrical Architect - Chassis ArchitectureEssential Job ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed packaging study and propose concept or design solution.Support cross functional packaging meetings and the geometrical work in an efficient way.Analyze and propose common solutions that can support all brands to minimize part numbers and maximize common partsVerify media routing, propose routing path, and clipping solutionsAnalyze and propose common solutions that can support all brands to minimize part numbers and maximize common partsPerform pre-study packaging analysis, present consequences, and propose the way forward.Contribute to improve packaging verification process, methods, and toolsInvolve in geometry verification plan (virtual builds, physical builds B/C, DMU structure) to improve CAD maturity & quality

Required Skills & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field1-4 years of product development experience, preferably in class 8 heavy duty truck developmentA firm understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing philosophy and applicationsComplete vehicle and/or Chassis knowledge preferableStrong experience with PTC Creo Parametric & Creo viewThe ability to work in cross-functional teams to communicateProduct Data management experience, a plus if you have experience from PDM system KOLAExcellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Requisition # 38718A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $52.00 - $57.00 per hour.
The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
