This position leads the strategy and execution of marketing efforts and supports brand consistency for several of CEE's residential programs. This includes meeting regularly with residential departments to determine marketing needs and developing annual marketing plans; implementing agreed-upon marketing strategies; and leading team processes to achieve and track impact for future planning. Essential to CEE's programs and operations, this work requires a deep understanding of marketing trends, experience developing and implementing marketing strategies, and skills creating goal-focused materials.

This mid-level position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager and has no direct reports. The role requires strict attention to confidentiality, patience with people and processes, emotional intelligence and maturity, and comfort assuming the best intentions of all colleagues. CEE is a community-based clean energy nonprofit with offices in the North Loop of Minneapolis and St. Paul's Midway. We provide practical energy solutions for homes, businesses, and communities to cut energy waste and harmful emissions. Responsibilities

Lead CEE's marketing efforts for a variety of residential programs that include Home Energy Squad, Lending, New Homes, Workforce Development, and more.

Translate business objectives in strategic marketing campaigns with measurable results. Work with department leads to assess and adjust to client needs and related budgets.

Facilitate annual meetings with department leads to build marketing workplans that guide marketing strategy for residential programs, and set measurable objectives. Also meet regularly with leads as relevant year-round to implement strategies, track progress, and adjust as needed.

Contribute to annual and ongoing marketing team planning and reporting processes to ensure a cohesive team approach and a consistently excellent customer experience across the organization.

Oversee the production of marketing materials from draft to design, printing or posting, and promotion to meet strategic objectives, and coordinate the work of outside vendors.

Oversee marketing campaigns from strategic concept to creative development, production, and analysis of results.

Develop content and written materials such as: case studies, flyers, emails, website pages, and more.

In close partnership with program liaisons, serve as primary marketing contact for portfolio clients, including utility companies, community partners, and more.

Report regularly to department leads about marketing implementation and progress to date. Share marketing plans and outcomes with broader staff as relevant.

Ensure brand consistency across CEE, as well as within materials aligned with partners' brands.

Qualifications/Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field of study, or equivalent experience.

At least 4 years' marketing experience.

Demonstrated excellence with copywriting and developing original content for marketing materials.

Strong project management, with aptitude for managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Comfort communicating strategy and ideas to an in-house designer. Familiarity with Adobe Design suite or equivalent programs a bonus.

Proven ability to organize processes and schedule a wide range of activities.

Excellent communication skills including the ability to speak in front of others.

Familiarity with HubSpot is a plus.

An orientation toward teamwork, emphasizing interpersonal savvy and big picture thinking in collaboration with seven-person communications/marketing team and inter-departmentally.

Must have reliable transportation to attend meetings and off-site events at multiple CEE offices and local events, including transportation of materials and equipment as needed.

Compensation

$28-30/hr
