GENERAL SUMMARY

The Email Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in creating and optimizing email campaigns to deliver engaging and impactful messages to our audience. Leveraging email knowledge and best practices, the Email Marketing Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall effectiveness of our email marketing initiatives.

The Email Marketing Manager's expertise will contribute to the creation of visually appealing and effective emails, ensuring a dynamic and personalized experience for our members and leads. The ideal candidate is technically savvy, a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and an effective communicator. They are well versed in email best practices and know how to put together email content in a simple, yet effective way.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing end-to-end email marketing campaigns, including but not limited to email building, QA, scheduling, and deployment. (35%)Collaborate with the marketing team to align on the calendar, set the production schedule, and manage all tasks to ensure 100% accuracy and on time deployment. (35%)Continue to innovate and iterate on the technical capabilities in email, creating a more streamlined process, leveraging automation where applicable. (15%)Create an email testing roadmap. Analyze results and develop a continuous optimization loop focused on engagement and conversion. (10%)Report on email performance, highlighting the key learnings and areas of opportunity. (5%)Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS KNOWLEDGE

Experience working in an email platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.Knowledge of email testing and optimization approaches.Capability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to effectively manage expectations, build trust, and achieve high satisfaction.Proficiency in delivering results within tight deadlines in a dynamic business environment.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving business outcomes.Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere with minimal supervision.Knowledge and experience with project management tools, Monday.com preferred.Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.TECHNICAL SKILLS

Solid understanding of HTML and CSS coding specific to email.Experience with email marketing platforms, Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience preferred.Experience working with mobile first and responsive design email templates and strategies.Experience with marketing tagging and tracking platforms such as Google Analytics or Universal Analytics.Basic proficiency in AmpScript or similar personalization language.Salesforce certifications are a plus, but not required.Deep understanding of compliance principles- CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other email laws and best practices.EXPERIENCE

3+ years of work experience in email marketing or other relevant work experience.EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.WORKING CONDITIONS/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Compensation is estimated based on Bay Clubs efforts to provide fair and competitive compensation. Actual pay will be based on a candidate's job-related experience, skills, education, training, location, and responsibilities.
