Transcendental is looking for a highly motivated Senior Web Developer with an expert grasp of U/I including PHP and WordPress Development. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our next generation websites.
You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new innovations and projects.
The best person for this role is also someone with a comprehensive knowledge of high end website design and development and a good grasp of SEO.

ResponsibilitiesWork alongside cross-functional teammates in design, account management, leadership, content development and SEO to produce innovative work that exceeds client expectations.Manage complex back-end tasks such as web asset migration, search optimization, coding to WCAG/ADA compliance, and programming.Own various design tasks involved in the web development life cycle from start to finishManage and adhere to project timelines, deliverables and deadlines.Receive and incorporate team and client feedback.Render device-responsive sites.Code WP sites based on approved page designs and art files.Oversee the quality, functionality and maintenance for all hosted websites.Requirements:Strong knowledge of PHP/HTML/JAVASCRIPT/CSS.Advanced understanding of the WordPress core software and its functions at the code level.Experience building custom WordPress websites.Understanding of WordPress coding and security best practices.Understanding of web performance best practices (e.g. analyze and optimize critical rendering path).Possess an ambitious work ethic.Able to multitask and prioritize projects.Not afraid to seek help and ask questions when necessary.Must be willing to accept and adapt to cross-channel and client feedback in a professional manner.Eagerness to learn new trends and technologies to keep our agency at the forefront of dental websites.Knowledge in DNS, MX Records, SSH, FTP, etc.QualificationsAt least 2-3 years' of experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptAbility to multitask, organize, and prioritize workExperience with WordPress & Elementor requiredWhy Work for Transcendental?Work environment with talented, smart, and fun colleagues.Professional growth opportunities.17 paid holidays each year.1 floating holidayUnlimited PTO (paid time off).Company-sponsored events and parties.Company pays 50% of the employee base medical planDental, vision. voluntary life, short term disability and long term disability
