Structural DesignerOur client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced Structural Designer to contribute to the design and structural components of various construction projects from concept to completion.This position demands excellent organizational skills, strategic thinking, and a thorough understanding of structural design principles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to address complex design challenges.

Focus:Develop and oversee detailed structural designs and analyses for construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.Manage and verify project budgets related to structural design components, ensuring cost efficiency through proactive planning and financial oversight. Address cost variances and implement corrective actions as needed.Create and review detailed structural drawings and specifications using software such as Revit and AutoCAD.Collaborate with design professionals, construction teams, and subcontractors to ensure structural integrity and project cohesion.Serve as the main point of contact between clients, design professionals, and vendors. Regularly communicate project status, address concerns, and resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction.Guide project teams and external contractors to optimize efficiency and safety protocols.Prepare and review project reports, including cost reports, progress reports, and performance analyses. Conduct progress meetings and document outcomes.
Skill Set:High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a structural designer in a related field.Highly skilled in Revit and proficient in AutoCAD.Design experience in the food and beverage, cold storage, or warehousing industry preferred.Strong proficiency in process improvement, budget tracking, and performance management.Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders.Ability to contribute immediately and effectively to project needs.Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail.Willingness to be based in Fayetteville with limited travel requirements.
