PCB Design Programmer:6-Month ContractRemote
Overview:One of the largest Oil and Gas Services companies based out of Houston is looking for a strong PCB Design Programmer to join their Drilling Division. You would be joining a project revolved around transitioning legacy PCB designs to a new software.
Required Experience:Prior experience with performing PCB library managementExperience with scripting (DOS Batch or WinBatch)Prefer experience minimally with both Gerber & ODB++ transfer protocols; preferable to have good understanding of current industry transfer standardsWould like the individual to have some past experience assembling and testing PCBs to understand the impact of design decisionsPrefer to have experience with design for harsh condition such as high vibration, high temperature and in space limited/size minimizing packagesWould prefer to have PADS (Siemens PCB design software) experience since this is the tool we primarily work inNice to have: experience checking PCB layout designs/drawingsNice to have: experience leading PCB design teams (someone who can be a strong contributor or a possible successor to team leader)Nice to have: experience modernizing team processes and standards to fit latest industry best practicesInterview Process:Interview with Brooksource – preferred partnerOne phone screen and interview with Client
