Member of the Military Avionics and Helicopter (MA&H) marketing team responsible for marketing activities of flight deck solutions worldwide.

We are seeking an energetic and qualified team member to join our Avionics Marketing Team. While focusing on the Military segment, t his person will be part of the team that markets to the Military, Business and Regional Aircraft and Commercial Aviation portfolios. We are chartered with leading the organization to new areas of growth and helping be comfortable being uncomfortable. Our marketing team is required to articulate the market requirements so that they may be accurately understood and acted upon.

What You Will Do:

Analyze and d efine the target market within the sales funnel to better focus our time

Identify key personas within the target market to better understand their buying behaviors and where they go to research market technologies

Develop data-driven value propositions for each persona

Work with our digital team to define the best marketing tactics including social media, paid content, SEO, LinkedIn AdWords, industry tradeshows, and private events

Work with the product marketing function to develop customer roadmaps and market requirements documents ensuring that true market requirements are clearly articulated

Gather, analyze, and synthesize the voice of customer and competitive intelligence inputs specific to the Military Avionics segment to provide tailorable insights leading to outstanding financial outcomes .

Assist or contribute to the creation and building of brands and assist in brand management

Manage critical relationships with key stakeholders, especially Sales, Communications, Strategy, Value Stream Management, and End users/customers

Lead the production and execution of strategic marketing plans (SMP ), budgets specific to the SMP and support SMPs led by product line marketing

You will engage with industry experts in side and outside of the company to aid in shaping global avionics requirements

Qualifications You Must Have:

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

4 years of knowledge of military aviation and helicopters, including flight operations, aircraft types, flight deck technologies, and utilization within different military branches

Qualifications We Prefer:

2 years of marketing experience , including market analysis

Experience planning and supporting industry tradeshows and conferences

Strong communicator – written, verbal, and in presentation settings

Ability to gain a U.S. security clearance

Experience flying a military aircraft

Familiarity with the U.S. Department of Defense

Experience with Sales force campaign and marketing tools An understanding of Challenger Sales tools

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
