The LinkedIn Sales Solutions team is looking for an experienced vertical marketer who will be responsible for building and deploying a robust marketing strategy for our North American Financial Services and Professional Services industries. This individual will work directly with senior vertical sales leaders and various cross-functional partners to drive regional demand, growth and retention for our Sales Navigator product with existing Enterprise customers across key sub-verticals. This will include creating opportunities to strengthen the relationships that our client-facing teams have with senior executives on the buying committee, and developing custom narratives and campaigns that give customers confidence to go all-in with our solution.

This individual must possess exceptionally strong industry knowledge in both the Financial Services and Professional Services industries, and have experience managing a comprehensive field marketing strategy inclusive of research, content, campaigns, enablement, and account-based marketing programs for Enterprise customers. A successful candidate is a curious and agile marketer with strong commercial acumen who is passionate about B2B customers — understanding them, enabling them, and helping them achieve their objectives. This individual will also need to be an indispensable partner to Sales, helping them identify new ways to deliver customer value through the discovery, activation, and expansion of buying groups, economic buyers, and influencers.

Responsibilities

Create and execute a multi-year vertical marketing strategy to drive demand, adoption, and revenue for LinkedIn Sales Navigator with Financial Services and Professional Services customers.

Partner closely with sales to understand business priorities and strategies, solution offerings, and existing value propositions and how they strategically relate to vertical opportunities and account needs.

Take a data-driven approach to prioritize marketing resourcing and investments within the verticals to achieve revenue goals.

Create custom content and campaigns to deliver relevant messages to these accounts, helping customers understand the organizational value of a deep sales approach and the impact of their investment

Help the Sales team unlock, build, and nurture relationships with senior executives at Financial Services and Professional Services accounts, including by orchestrating in-person and virtual events.

Manage agency partners and resources to develop scalable approaches and operating models that create leverage across the verticals and LSS marketing organization.

Increase advocacy for Sales Navigator and deep sales, including developing and evangelizing customer stories and testimonials.

Maintain detailed performance metrics to track progress and drive decisions.

Serve as a strategic partner to other vertical marketers supporting B2B customers across the business.

Basic Qualifications:

10+ years of marketing experience with demonstrated results.

10+ years (combined) experience in the Financial Services and Professional Services industries.

BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.

Experience in B2B marketing with a focus in Field Marketing, Integrated Marketing, ABM and/or product marketing. SaaS experience preferred.

Strong narrative and content development skills, including the ability to tailor and personalize narratives to be relevant for various audiences.

Highly motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit; able to navigate ambiguity and drive projects from idea through execution, build strong internal relationships, prioritize resources based on business impact, and build consensus and alignment on critical initiatives.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas, updates, and results to business partners of various levels.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others – on any given day you will engage with other Marketing teams, Sales, agencies, customers, etc.

Adept at quantitatively measuring and communicating campaign effectiveness and identifying improvement opportunities.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $144,000 to $224,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
