As the Product Marketing Manager, Azure Skilling Marketing, you will have the opportunity to lead marketing for our “Unify Your Intelligent Data & Analytics Platform” solution play skilling content across multiple channels. You will own content strategy, influence editorial calendar and content deliverables for the solution area. You will manage contributions to internal and external blogs, social media and email nurture campaigns; this includes tracking and monitoring content and channel performance using data to inform and modify customer experience. You will work across a diverse set of teams including integrated marketing, World Wide Learning, Engineering, Product marketing, and our Field sales force.

In Azure Customer Success marketing, we focus on understanding our customers' needs and pain points. We aim to provide our customers with a world-class experience and help them to get the best value from their cloud investment. We develop simple, consistent, and clear marketing content to empower our customers to achieve more. Every successful engagement makes it easier to win each subsequent one, so setting up customers correctly is foundational work for our customers’ success.

As customers move to cloud services the demand for skilled professionals has never been greater and we are looking for a passionate, results-driven product marketing manager to lead the marketing effort to grow our base and meet market demand.

We are seeking a candidate with a background in technical learning or marketing, demonstrated communication skills, and a proven track record of managing significant, cross-team projects. Ideally, this candidate will excel in a dynamic environment, adapting to evolving priorities with ease. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to drive strategic initiatives while also being detail-oriented to ensure project success. We are looking for someone who is able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and has demonstrated experience managing sizable, multi-team, highly visible projects while engaging with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define the customer experience through content and initiatives that drives programmatic engagement with our learning assets while increasing the number of Azure professionals

• Influence existing skilling content roadmap to evolve and keep up with market demands and deliver world-class learning experiences

• Become a subject matter expert on the technical learning industry, providing critical insights to our stakeholders to drive engagement and attainment of key targets

• Partner with Integrated Marketing to land Azure Skilling priorities across our digital channels

• Partner with our worldwide field teams to land Azure Skilling content across the audience segment

• Define key success metrics and leading business reviews across stakeholders/leaders

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business

OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business

OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience.

Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking with aptitude to frame and analyze problems and have the ability to distill key insighs from incomplete data

Customer empathy- understand their pains and find ways to help them succeed

A strategic thinker combined with effective ability to execute across the organization, build clarity when there is ambiguity and drive for results

Demonstrated project management skills, leading cross-functional virtual teams with the ability to prioritize, sequence, execute and deliver projects on time and on budget

Ability to tackle problems independently and with new ways

Effective written and oral executive communication

Ability to influence without authority and represent the team, both internally and externally

Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
