Position Summary:The Marketing Activation Manger leads strategic marketplace activation of the company’s brands across prioritized consumer destinations throughout a designated region/geography (West or Midwest), including key boost zones and venues. This position focuses on collaborating to execute local activation that impacts per-capita and share growth, maximizing the company’s full marketplace potential. The Marketing Activation Manager executes marketing strategies at the local level, in alignment with the broader business strategy and performance targets.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Utilize knowledge of partnership marketing principles and proven execution track-records to establish best-in-class processesExecute strategic pillar event and market activation roadmapIdentify key initiatives that support commercial channel, brand and shopper plans and further reach and engage consumers in designated region/geography (West or Midwest)Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external brand partners to execute, in alignment with targeted objectivesImplement programs and initiatives that are grounded in deep consumer, product and marketplace understanding in order to help build consumer demand and market share in responsible region/geographyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights for brand activation and go to market strategy implementation of beverage productsBuild strong commercial strategy plansCreate and facilitate presentations for a variety of audiencesOther projects or duties as assignedRequired Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Marketing related field and 6 plus years of experience in sales/account management, commercial strategy, or marketing, in the consumer goods or beverage industry or HS Diploma/GED and 9 plus years of experience sales/account management, commercial strategy, or marketing, in the consumer goods or beverage industryExperience building and monitoring execution action plansExperience managing multiple local activation programsExperience calling on customers i.e., Retail, Food Service/On PremiseKnowledge of brand strategy, i.e., brand acumen, positioning and occasions, etc., and application across channels, including local marketingResults orientedExecution bias for actionStrong verbal, written and presentations skills with all levels of an organizationStrong relationship building skills with all levels of an organizationStrong conflict resolution skillsOrganization and planning skillsDetail oriented mindsetTravel up to 30%This position must pass a post-offer background and drug testPreferred Skills and Experience:Master’s degreeBrand and channel management experienceShopper insights, category management or shopper marketing experienceKnowledge of key consumption occasions, shopper messaging, and methods of activation and ability to localize for customersPhysical Demands and Work Environment :Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Due to the nature of our business in regard to such things as delivery schedules, order inputs, selection, and Department of Transportation Hours of Service, overtime, attendance and punctuality are essential job functions.Should an individual in this classification not be able to adhere to this requirement due to a disability, they should contact their Human Resources department to see what, if any, reasonable accommodation may be made.
