design firm seeking an experienced

Senior Interior Designer

to join our team as we grow. We are looking for a candidate with a proven hospitality interior design background and a passion for out-of-the-box, creative design, specializing in high-style Boutique Hotel, Restaurant, and Cruise Ship concepts.

Required:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design.

Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in a Senior Interior Designer role at an architecture or interior design firm.

Experience serving as Senior Interior Designer on multiple projects.

Primary experience focused on Hospitality, Restaurant, or Hotel Projects.

Work samples must demonstrate experience in high-style hospitality design projects; hotels, restaurants, nightlife, etc.

Work samples must demonstrate experience with finishes, materials, and fixtures.

Must be able to carry a project from day one to completion, including generating look books and mood boards, palette selections, proposing ID concepts via sketches and/or elevation renderings, FF&E and material selections and specifications, management of studio and client control samples, execution of approved ID concepts in the form of ID and/or CD drawings, and final submittal of all required documentation and drawings.

Responsibilities:

Software proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign; SketchUp is a bonus.

Interpret and create detailed design development drawings, schematics, and 3D models.

Maintain a library of finish and fixture selections that is practical, chic, and scalable.

Maintain a drawing database, ensuring drawings and revisions are stored in a logical order; regularly and frequently perform backups.

Ability to develop and present unique design concepts, schematic plans, and specifications.

Ability to meet milestones related to design projects.

Providing technical specifications and construction details.

Must be detail-oriented, passionate about design, and a continuous learner.

Must have a sharp eye for interior design, finishes, materials, fixtures, and the latest trends in these areas.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excel in a high-pressure, exciting, deadline-oriented environment.
