The Manager, Corporate Social Media Content is responsible for the development, cultivation and amplification of Adtalem’s social media content and digital thought leadership across Adtalem’s owned channels. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications this person will drive our corporate brand voice and narrative through social and digital media and grow our share of voice through increased brand awareness and engagement.

This position will be charged with thinking outside the box to tell our brand narrative through the development of engaging and powerful content. This individual will also be a key contributor to Adtalem’s overall content strategy and responsible for increasing brand awareness and driving follower acquisition and reach that directly supports the company’s overarching business goals and strategies.

Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and implement engaging digital content that maximizes reach, resonance, and results of campaigns that deliver branding, acquisition, and retention goals.

Create and cultivate content that highlights Adtalem’s key messaging pillars and reinforces institutional expertise and proof points that support the company’s overarching business goals and strategies and drives brand awareness.

Develop individualized digital thought leadership content for the CEO and key Adtalem executives that elevates our company as an expert in healthcare, leveraging key messaging pillars combined with subject matter expert recommendations.

Implement social strategies to maximize reach, resonance and results of campaigns that deliver on branding, acquisition, and retention goals.

Establish strong cross-functional relationships with internal and external partners.

Strategize, recommend, and implement new tactics and channels to increase brand awareness.

Assist in the ongoing evolution of Adtalem content, including generation of new ideas and supporting communications measurement/KPIs.

Analyze KPI/metric reports on communications initiatives and offer recommendations to optimize future efforts.

Collaborate with a vendor/partner on video production, staging and other visual elements.

Contribute to other key team projects, as required.

Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree in social media, journalism, communications, marketing or related field required.

Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with strong social and SEO experience.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Superior planning, organizing and project management skills, including the ability to inspire others to meet deadlines.

A high attention to detail, with an interest in usability and user experience and an emphasis on accuracy and quality.

Strong writing, grammar, punctuation and composition rules required for editing and proofreading material.

A professional demeanor.

High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.

A strong work ethic and ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively work with people at all levels, including executives.

PC, mobile and web/online savvy-including full suite of Microsoft offerings.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.

Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize a varied workload in a fast-paced and demanding environment with several competing priorities.

Willing to learn new skills, expand knowledge, and adapt to technological and business changes.

Additional Information:

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $70,696.34 and $124,230.14. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
