Simpli.fi’s investors include leading private equity firms Blackstone and GTCR.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:Simpli.fi is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Communications leader for its Marketing team. Ideal candidates possess strong organizational, communication, writing, technical, and analytical skills. We are looking for a creative and innovative brand communicator that is passionate about developing world-class B2B content, specifically in the AdTech industry.The Director, Communications and Events will develop and execute on strategies that will independently and in concert support Simpli.fi’s growth goals through communications (internal, market and investor), analyst relations, social media as well as brand and lead generation-oriented events. This role will work cross-functionally within the marketing organization to ensure consistency of message as well as reporting on results across the respective medias and channels driven by the communications and events strategy.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:Lead overall strategy and day-to-day for all communications including public relations, internal communications and analyst communications.Manage all media inquiries, interview requests, and additional PR opportunities with company’s designated thought leaders.Direct Simpli.fi’s PR agency in developing a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media. Track and report on progress quarterly.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive overall PR strategy, and align brand messaging to ensure a consistent communication approach.Develop internal and external communication to support M&A.Manage crisis communications alongside PR agency in partnership with leadership team.Partner with key executives to shape voices and build thought leadership program with press opportunities and bylines.Manage PR agency to develop, edit, and distribute all corporate press releases.Manage all social media activities and track growth of advocacy platform with employees.Create engaging internal communications for employees through the #OneSimplifi Program, including a bi-weekly internal newsletter, support of the #OneSimplifi Culture Committee and marketing lunch & learns.Implement strategies and submit for award submission opportunities that highlight our tech/solutions, workplace culture, brand transformation, and more.In collaboration with key stakeholders, lead the development of Simpli.fi’s event strategy and manage the execution including booth design & messaging, speaking deliverables and tracking of ROI with sales.Spearhead partnerships with external parties to increase presence in the marketplace with analyst relations firms and business product review platforms.YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:Bachelor’s Degree in either Marketing or Communications, preferredMinimum 12 years experience in marketing including hands-on experience with corporate communications2-3 years Director Level experienceProficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and WordHigh level of creativity, attention to detail, and exemplary project management skillsStrong knowledge of the online advertising industry, industry participants, trends and technologiesPristine grammar and excellent communication and organization skillsHighly motivated to excel with a strong work ethic and initiativeResourceful, dependable and able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented environmentAbility to build and maintain relationships with senior level executivesWORKING WITH US HAS ITS REWARDS:Awesome company environment and benefits with a great management team. Company is focused on developing and mentoring employees!The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the base range is $130,000 to $140,000.
