As part of the Revenue Team, this position plays a global role in ensuring that the Design teams across all marketplaces are operating with a singular mission in mind. The SVP, Design will play a critical part in building community amongst the Design team and ensuring we can attract and retain great Design talent.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountable the Design leaders to own efficiency, quality, design strategy, and workload management.Operate a department capable of supporting the needs of the organization both from design support and sales team alignment perspectives.Lead the Design Leader L10 meetings in Traction Tools based on the Entrepreneurial Operation System (EOS).Develop and implement the design strategy and process: create the vision and process that align with the company’s goals and objectives, and ensure the team’s efforts support these objectives.Develop and implement the showroom strategy and process: align the showroom furniture vision and process with the company’s goals, budget and sales objectives. Ensure efficiencies are built into the process.Lead and inspire the design team: provide direction, mentorship, and motivation. Cultivate a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.Collaborate globally with leaders of other departments: work closely with marketing, sales, project management, and other departments to ensure communication is clear between teams to achieve the best outcome.Manage design budgets: oversee the design department’s budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to meet goals.Quality control: maintain standards of design accuracy and ensure no sells are in line with year over year benchmarks.WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:Bachelor’s Degree in Design.10+ years of industry experience; 5+ years of managing people.Experience leading people leaders.Ability to align the needs of the business with the demands of the design departments, influencing key stakeholders to drive the best outcomes.Capable of both creating vision and leading execution.Versed in budgets and working with finance to determine design performance against plan.Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.WHAT WE BRING TO THE TABLE:A State-of-the-Art Facility with plenty of free parking, incredible technology throughout, great coffee and tea options, and a multitude of workspaces at your disposal.Use the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) methodology to provide tools to help individuals and teams achieve goals, growth, and improvement.Quarterly All Company Meetings.Paid Holidays.Paid Time Off.Medical and Dental Benefits.401K with Employer Matching Dollars.Ability to use your talents and strengths to make a positive impact.
