In this team, you will have the ability to work with design, technical, and product owners to understand the business vision and objectives to help identify opportunities for a competitive advantage.The Associate Experience Designer is a talented practitioner that contributes to the design and delivery of exceptional interaction and visual designs. This individual employs a user-centered design methodology to create compelling, intuitive interfaces. The Associate Experience Designer works closely with user experience team members, product owners and stakeholders to understand business goals and translate those goals into designs that enhance the overall end-user experience.

Considering making an application for this job Check all the details in this job description, and then click on Apply.The Associate Experience Designer works in a multidisciplinary environment, and in a collaborative fashion, on user experience design activities throughout the software development lifecycle, often with numerous design initiatives occurring concurrently.This individual contributes to the design of the overall look and feel of interactive user interfaces across multiple products and platforms.Contributes to the simplification of complex information into intuitive interactions, flows, charts, graphs, and other forms of visual representationAssists in working directly with developers to turn wireframes and other visualizations into production ready prototypes based on our established components and patterns in our design languagePerforms quality assurance reviews of developed pages to ensure adherence to standardsObserves and may assist with validation sessions and user feedback reviews with stakeholders and customersContributes to the maintenance and updates to our design language, to maintain consistency in behaviours across multiple productsParticipates in the definition of the user-centered design methodology across the enterprise with various groups in both business and technologyAbility to travel occasionally for workshops and meetingsQualificationsBachelor of Fine Arts degree or similar requiredExperience as a User Experience Designer of web and mobile responsive user interfacesSome expertise in the design, production and presentation of visual designs that support the needs of the customer a plus, but not requiredStrong oral, written and presentation skillsUnderstanding of user-centered design patterns and methodologiesComfort with ambiguity, complexity and passion for challengesAttention to detail with ability to successfully execute on multiple, simultaneous projectsDetail-oriented self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a teamDetailed knowledge of design tools such as Axure, Adobe CS or similarExperience working with and maintaining a design language of components and patternsThe ideal candidate would also have:

Experience in Insurance, FinTech or Financial Services, as a Designer, working on large, enterprise wide work efforts across a multi-disciplinary teamExperience with Agile software methodologies. Formal training in one or more recognized Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, kanban, etc.) or toolsets (JIRA, Rally, etc.) is a plus.Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.Awesome personality with a good sense of humorFor US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$78,000 - [[$113,100, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
