We primarily serve two distinct personas of learner: Frontline retail workers looking to acquire new skills in the interest of eventual job change, and mid-career upskillers looking for immediately applicable skills to become better in their current role or to secure a new role. We primarily distribute our courses via learning marketplaces.Role Overview:

As a Senior Manager, Product Marketing for Chegg Skills, you will be instrumental in driving adoption and growth of our skilling platform for learners, employers, and channel partners. Your primary focus will be effectively positioning, conducting research and data analysis, and devising new market strategies that drive increased revenue and improved learner outcomes for Chegg.You will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategy through the positioning of our programs and services. You'll own and execute our go-to-market strategy, drive adoption, and ensure our solutions meet the evolving needs of our partners and students. This role requires a visionary leader with exceptional marketing acumen, and a proven track record of success in channel partnership environments.This is an individual contributor role and reports to the Senior Director of Chegg Skills.Responsibilities:

Lead cross-functional initiatives between Marketing, Partnerships and Product to improve performance against success metrics related to positioning, user personas, and unique value propositions of Chegg Skills' programs.Develop and scale market research processes that provide data-informed recommendations using surveys, customer interviews, focus groups, and analytics.Lead new program launches that achieve success metrics by managing internal and external contributors to deliver positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials.Independently identify and solve problems related to revenue growth and learner outcomes and participate in identifying and developing future objectives.Set team-wide strategy 6-12 months in advance by anticipating issues and solving complex longitudinal problems with measurable impact.Communicate effectively for business and product needs to secure commitments, gain clear stakeholder alignment, and overcome objections on complex issues.Leverage expert business acumen and critical thinking to identify innovative insights that allow our organization to accelerate ahead of competition.Manage internal and external contributors to support employee growth, retention, and effective outputs with clear planning, coaching, and development.Develop organization-wide knowledge of our customers, products, and processes to improve effectiveness across every team.Requirements:

Proven experience (10+ years) in product marketing, with at least 1 year as the only PMM/marketing member of a team.Innovative and visionary; can rally diverse stakeholders around a common vision.Be a thought partner and deeply embed yourself into the organization to ensure we are lockstep on strategic areas such as our core messaging, differentiators, go-to-market strategy and more.Demonstrated success in product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategies.Experience in conducting market research and using data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions and proficiency with analytics tools.Experience in conducting product-market fit research and developing buyer personas.Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to cross-functional teams and build relationships with stakeholders.Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to anticipate issues, plan 6-12 months in advance, and devise data-informed strategies that are unprompted and with minimal guidance from leadership.A team player with a growth mindset.
