Full-timeFLSA Status: ExemptDivision: 22700 - G&ACareer Areas: Security / SurveillanceStatus: Full-TimeThe Security Communications Center (SCC) Supervisor is responsible for supervising, organizing, administering, and overseeing the daily operations of the Wynn Las Vegas Security Communications Center, ensuring timely and precise information is dispatched to relevant security personnel and hotel management. The SCC Supervisor must operate and handle a multi-task workload during high volume and/or high stress periods, requiring skill in prioritizing work flow and maximizing the use of surveillance and communications resources. The SCC Supervisor is responsible for managing SCC personnel during their scheduled shift, ensuring the safety and security of Wynn guests, employees, and facilities.Provide leadership and guidance for the officers of their respective shift.Responsible for the effective supervision and administration of the SCC personnel, including staff development and training, performance management, and employee relations.Supervise the officers of their respective shift to ensure quality performance and service is provided to security personnel and hotel staff.Ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies, procedures, and guidance.Ensure effective and efficient surveillance and communication dispatch services are provided.Analyze and evaluate complex situations using logic and reasoning, establishing priorities while considering the benefits of potential actions.Utilize multiple modes of communication to disseminate information during critical events.Establish “Unified Command” during critical incidents or events.Maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as Employee Relations, Guest Claims, Workers Compensation, Risk Management, Hotel Management, Fire Control Center, and Surveillance.Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of requests for assistance and camera coverage.Coordinate with outside agencies during critical incidents or events.Maintain, operate, and monitor the equipment in the SCC to ensure it remains in good working condition.Be flexible regarding their schedule.Perform all duties of a Security Communications Center Officer.Minimum Qualifications:Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written; must be able to communicate in English with patrons, management, and other employees. A second language is preferred but not required.Strong customer service skills; ability to deal with problems involving patrons and operational issues while maintaining a positive attitude.Strong knowledge of programs associated with daily operations of the Security Communications Center (iTrak, Opera, Synectics, etc.).Ability to work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations.Positive, “whatever it takes” attitude.Strong problem-solving & decision-making skills.Maintain confidentiality of patron information and pertinent hotel data.Perform essential job functions with attention to detail.A valid Nevada Gaming License, CPR, and Alcohol Awareness certification are required and must be obtained before entering this position.Must be 21 years of age or older.Wynn Resorts is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
