We are searching for a Community Marketing Specialist - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will increase awareness, consideration, and preference of strategic service lines at Texas Children's Health Plan, among key consumer target markets. Develop and maintain relationships with leaders in the Health Plan as well as The Center to target priority audiences with relevant marketing campaigns to achieve service area and service-line specific goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communication preferred

3 years' experience in marketing or communications required

Outdoor/Indoor event planning and execution experience is a must

Healthcare experience preferred

Hybrid position, but Saturdays required

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and nurture relationships with key community-based organizations

Work with community-based organizations within designated service area to promote service line products and provide educational materials

Serve as the marketing relationship “owner” and as a strategic resource within designated service area for leadership of key service lines at Texas Children’s Health Plan.

Represent marketing, serving as contact person and project manager for various service area specific marketing and communication initiatives.

Communicate with service line leaders to help identify marketing needs and effective solutions.

Collaborate with internal marketing colleagues in PR, web services, brand management, etc., tapping internal expertise to create effective integrated strategies.

Initiate tactics and activities according to marketing plan, on time and within budget parameters.

Help manage agencies and vendors to execute plans on time and within budget

Demonstrate positive and effective interpersonal skills when dealing with families, community at large, peers, and other department team members and leaders.

Demonstrate the ability to problem solve, identify appropriate resources, adapt to ongoing change, and handle conflict management with a professional and supportive attitude.
