CREATIVE COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

Master's Degree

in a relevant field.Job Responsibilities: The Director provides executive-level leadership and strategic direction for UW's Creative Communications division, which includes design, web development, copy, print, and mailing services. Responsibilities include:Managing day-to-day operations and a team of over 65 staff.Negotiating priorities with campus leadership.Developing and communicating vision and programmatic direction.Managing an annual operations budget of over $10.5 million.Creating a culture of inclusivity and equity.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related field and 10 years of progressive experience in complex logistical management. Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements. 5 years of progressively responsible leadership/management experience.Additional Requirements: Demonstrated experience in working with diverse groups; knowledge of digital printing, graphic design, and website development.Desired Qualifications: Experience leading process improvement and evaluating outcome-based organizational performance.Application Process: The application process may include various online assessments.
