Duties:Provide music therapy to veterans, including teaching instruments such as ukulele, guitar, drums, and percussion.Guide veterans in songwriting, singing, and therapeutic music creation.Conduct psychotherapy processing as part of therapy sessions.Lead hands-on music creation classes where veterans create and keep their own projects.Conduct both group and individual sessions, structured as series or single sessions.
Requirements:Must hold a current Music Therapist-Board Certified (MT-BC) credential.In-depth knowledge of music therapy techniques, including history and theory.Ability to demonstrate and teach various musical techniques effectively.
