As our Creative Intern, you get to work alongside our successful New York-based A&R team, supporting them with crucial tasks such as ensuring Kobalt has all relevant information concerning existing songs as well as day-to-day dealings with clients and their representatives.
There are lots of opportunities to gain an understanding of how this part of the industry works and build on your knowledge of music publishing and further develop your communication and organizational skills. Most importantly, you are passionate about music and supporting a team!
About you
You have an absolute passion for music as well as solid administrative skills with a track record of completing tasks accurately and efficiently.
You can demonstrate excellent communication skills as well as a positive attitude and an ability to take initiative and show willingness to deliver help where required.
About our program
Our internship is a paid 6-month program that runs from 7th October 2024 to end of March 2025. You will work 15 hours a week, and alongside your day to day duties, we offer you a special speaker series where once a quarter, you will have access to a wide range of industry professionals to immerse yourself in the music publishing industry.
As if that wasn't enough, you will have an opportunity to work on a reflective paper or project and at the end of the program, present directly to our senior-level executives. Alongside our other benefits, we are open to a hybrid working arrangement, but recommend you spend a minimum of 2 days in the office to learn from the best team in the business and enjoy the perks of what our office space can offer!
