Design and Development Product Owner

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from an office in Hammonton, NJ, or Philadelphia, PA. We may consider a virtual (work from home) role for a strong applicant.

What the day will look like

Product Design, Development and Ownership:Drive the prioritization and execution of product features and key initiatives within the Consumer Solutions PortfolioLend comprehensive industry knowledge of digital platforms and general trends to support Product Development initiatives;Collaborate with content and design colleagues to enhance the user experience for digital consumer platformsLeverage experience with content management systems and digital asset management to ideate ways to enhance Aon Consumer Benefits digital capabilitiesDrive business case development for new platforms to enhance efficiency and expand Aon Consumer Benefits ability to serve its clientsConduct user research; build and utilize personas to understand user needs, expectations and experiences; survey and analyze design; manage A/B testing to measure content, design and featuresFormulate and be accountable for objectives and key results (OKRs) for various initiatives and projects, aligned to business goals and designed to drive user outcomes.Works to find solutions that provide optimal efficiencies to processes and people.Gathers, manages, and prioritizes market/customer requirements.Defines customer needs and the associated features to meet those needs. Ensures each story has the correct acceptance criteria.Continually assess minimally viable product list to support the business goals.Collaborate with other teams (Training, Operations) to support effective Change Management for successful transition of projects and initiatives.Communication and Collaboration:Gathers, manages, and prioritizes the product backlog. Ensures close collaboration with the development and quality assurance teams.Handoff User stories to Development team for successful execution of product featuresConducts application-level testing to certify the features.Participates in daily sprint stand-ups, sprint planning and review, retrospectives, and grooming.Assess progress of projects, mitigate risks, and communicate action plans

Skills and experience that will lead to success5+ years of proven experience as a product manager, program manager and/or other applicable leadership positionExperience designing and building websites and other digital assetsExcellent personal interaction skills, strong networking abilityExperience in managing multiple priorities, people and projects simultaneously to successExperience in Agile Thinking & DeliveryExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong technical skills across MSO Suite, including PowerPoint and ExcelPreferred Experience:Experience with scalable and responsive web designs using the CSS, HTML 5, bootstrap and JavaScriptExperience in creative tooling such as Figma or Adobe XD ExperienceEstablish macro design guidelines, front-end documentation, and best practices, and ensure that the uniformity across UX experiencesInsurance and benefits backgroundProduct Management planning toolsDemonstrated success in defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectivesEducation

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $100,000-$137,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.

The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
