About the Role:
As our Music Therapist, you will plan and lead dynamic music programs tailored to the diverse needs of our residents across all levels, including Assisted Living, the Pavilion, and the HOPE Center. Your role will involve conducting individual and group music activities that are fun, creative, educational, cognitive, and therapeutic. You'll foster an atmosphere of friendship and enthusiasm, meeting the special needs and skill levels of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:Design and implement engaging music therapy sessions for residents with varying abilities.Conduct individual and group activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social well-being.Collaborate with other creative arts therapists on staff to create holistic, multidisciplinary programs.Maintain accurate records and report on residents' progress and engagement.Adapt and tailor programs to meet the unique needs of each resident, ensuring a personalized and enriching experience.

Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy or a related field.Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC).Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting is preferred.Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of others through music.
