This is a hybrid role, working three days a week in our Deerfield, IL office and two days a week in your home office.

What you'll be doing

Join Baxter's Patient Monitoring team as a healthcare marketing leader, responsible for leading our U.S. on-market Starling system within the Infusion Therapies and Technologies segment. In this role, you will accelerate the growth of Starling Fluid Management Monitoring System by owning, driving and participating in the development of a commercial strategy, promoting and increasing brand awareness, and defining the tactical plan to achieve business goals.

We are looking for a leader with experience in downstream and digital marketing, a thorough understanding of the competitive market, and a drive to create growth opportunities. You will work closely with the US sales, medical, and marketing communications teams, and collaborate with partners across Baxter's various segments and product lines to develop future monitoring technologies and capabilities.

Marketing Strategy & Execution:

* Develop and implement a detailed tactical downstream marketing plan based on market trends, customer needs, and partner feedback.* Serve as the lead on completing marketing campaigns for the US patient monitoring portfolio with a strong focus on delivering impactful digital marketing campaigns and initiatives.* Define and track US performance metrics and oversee the marketing budget.

Industry Event Presence Management:

* Plan and lead product presence at booths and national conferences.* Lead the congress/conference strategy, including develop and execution of communication plans and ensure a strong presence at industry events, to enhance visibility and engagement.

Commercial Leadership and Analytics:

* Participate in setting the strategy for the growth of Patient Monitoring business, including identifying and using market trends and insights to develop innovative business growth strategies, including measure and reporting key performance metrics to senior leadership* Use financial data to measure performance, forecast demand, and provide insights for leadership decisions* Apply analytics to improve marketing effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Marketing Educational and Digital Materials:

* Develop and implement creative marketing communication plans in partnership with the Marketing Communications team, applying a mix of digital, social media, and traditional marketing strategies to increase reach and engagement.* Lead the creation and launch of innovative marketing campaigns that align with business goals and deliver measurable results, ensuring all marketing materials are consistent with brand messaging and compliance requirements.* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and feedback for continuous improvement of communication strategies.

Communication Strategy:

* Lead the execution of marketing activities, including product promotion, digital transformation initiatives, social media marketing, and web content. Create assets in partnership with Global Marketing to support sales and drive product adoption and utilization.* Drive marketing collateral/labeling through relevant medical, legal and regulatory approval processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of campaigns and messaging across channels.

Sales Collaboration:

* Partner with the US Sales Director to lead communication and align with the US sales team and internal partners.* Provide leadership to achieve key conversion targets and support opportunity conversion. Create compelling messaging and collateral that resonate with customers and empower the sales team.* Formulate and implement commercial strategies for national sales meetings, in collaboration with Sales Training.* Develop promotional content, educational materials, and digital marketing initiatives to support and enhance product adoption and usage.

Market Dynamics

* Understand market dynamics, product adoption challenges, and clinical applications of our products to inform strategic decisions and drive success.* Keep track of market share, pricing strategies, and competitive dynamics

What you'll bring

* Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

* 5 plus years of demonstrated ability in marketing, with preferred experience in digital marketing. Proven experience within the healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry, particularly with medical devices, is highly desirable.* Strong results orientation and ability to quickly grasp and apply clinical concepts.* Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint for impactful presentations and Excel for analytics.* Superior project management abilities, including scheduling and communication, and competence in managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Expertise in market research, pricing strategies, customer advocacy development, and creative product/program development.* Ability to influence and communicate successfully with all organizational levels and proactively advance issues.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary range for this position is $104,000 - 143,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
