Position Summary:Under the direction of the Supervisor of Activities Therapy, this position

is responsible for

providing meaningful activities and therapeutic interventions for residents in compliance with State and Federal regulations and the facility guidelines.

Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:Education:

Bachelors

Degree is

required

from an accredited college with a major in Therapeutic Recreation/Music Therapy/Art Therapy/Expressive Arts Therapy/Rehabilitation Therapy or related field which has emphasis in the therapeutic delivery of services. Must have competency in the

degreed

field.

Licensure:

Must

acquire

within

90 days

or currently have a Missouri Chauffeur’s License. (Minimum Class E or above). BLS-CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is

required

.
