Expeditor (Food Expo)

The Expeditor plays a key role in the presentation and delivery of dishes coming out of the kitchen to our guests. At the guidance of the Executive Chef, the Expeditor is responsible for ensuring a proper flow of orders, adding any special request condiments, final look of plate, and delivery to guests as directed.

*Primary Responsibilities*

Perform all duties according to Van Acre systems and protocols.

Learn and understand the dinner menu, developing the ability to answer general questions about food and beverage items.

Ensure orders are organized by priority and delivered to the correct guests

Keep up with a high volume of orders.

Inspects dishes for accuracy and presentation.

Follow up promptly on guest requests or questions, immediately reporting any complaints or concerns to a supervisor.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Assist with cleaning of work areas, chinaware and/or glassware throughout the shift.

Other duties as assigned.

*Qualifications*

Experience in fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred

Reliable with strong work ethic, customer service skills, attention to detail, problem solving and verbal and written communication

Professional appearance that complies with dress code

Ability to work independently and as a team member, collaborating as necessary to ensure the client needs are met.

Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with peers, supervisors, executives, and guests.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand for long periods as well as walk, bend and stoop

Ability to push, pull, carry and lift 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift

Job Type: Part-time
