Over the past 80 years, NEIT has evolved alongside the world and the workplace. We are now seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to help us tell the next chapter of NEIT’s story, drive enrollment, and contribute to the overall success of our institution and its programs.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Marketing Manager will support the development and execution of recruitment campaigns utilizing an integrated mix of marketing strategies. Channels include but are not limited to organic and paid social media, PPC, SEO, digital advertising, streaming and broadcast media, email marketing, direct mail, and both virtual and in-person events. These strategies aim to achieve enrollment goals and increase awareness of NEIT offerings.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Serve as an integral member of the university marketing team to implement effective enrollment marketing projects, campaigns, and systems.

Partner across internal teams – including admissions, faculty, financial aid, community relations, and other key stakeholders – to execute campaigns in accordance with the annual enrollment marketing calendar.

Collaborate with external content creators such as graphic designers, videographers, photographers, media contacts, marketing agencies, and print shops to ensure alignment to scope and strategy.

Create engaging content from conception to implementation for use in digital/web, social media, and print platforms.

Serve as a primary project manager for the marketing team, overseeing all details, timelines, and deliverables required for timely execution of a set of strategies.

Maintain consistent, on-brand messaging across all program and university initiatives.

Monitor campaign performance, analyze and compile key metrics, and track campaign progress to goal.

Create, manage, and optimize social media campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok.

Utilize CRM (Slate) to draft and deploy email marketing campaigns to various targeted lists of students, parents, counselors, and local influencers.

Support recruitment events such as open houses, college fairs, high school visits, and webinars to drive applications and ensure positive experiences for students and families.

Assist with development and maintenance of the NEIT website via Wordpress.

Develop a deep understanding of the NEIT brand and its perception, crafting unique touchpoints to boost awareness and positively impact enrollment.

Manage the promotional product inventory and collateral ordering process.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Ability to creatively communicate the value of a New England Tech education across multiple formats and various audiences.

Self-starter, solution-oriented, and committed to serving as a positive and respectful representation of the NEIT community towards all colleagues, staff, and students.

Talent for transforming complex concepts into clear and compelling calls to action.

Proficient in project management including developing timelines, coordinating schedules, determining scope, tracking progress, and problem solving.

Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional standards.

Interest in proactively identifying areas for process improvement that increase effectiveness without compromising quality.

Strong time management skills; Ability to move projects forward in a timely manner.

Highly organized and professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to adhere to routines and best practices set by team leadership.

Understanding of the college's mission, purpose, and goals and the role of marketing in achieving them.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree required; previous enrollment or higher education marketing experience preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills, presentation experience, sales/marketing mindset, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Positive and flexible attitude with excitement for impacting the lives of potential students.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively throughout all stages of a project in person and via phone, email, and video.

Skilled with tools such as Wordpress, Canva, GA4, Google Ads, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Adobe Suite.

Experience with marketing CRM (Slate preferred).

Demonstrable experience in creating written and visual content for varying audiences.

Ability to work some evening and weekend events.

Valid driver’s license required.

This position is an in-person role seated at the East Greenwich, RI campus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
