About the Role:Working alongside the senior leadership Team, our client is seeking an Internal Communications and Engagement Manager to spearhead their internal communications strategy, delivery, and measurement globally. You'll be responsible for creating and delivering engaging, inspiring, consistent communication messages and campaigns that keep colleagues informed and engaged with key plans and developments.

About You:To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

Proven experience in the development and execution of comprehensive internal communications strategies aligned to the values and strategic priorities of a charity.

Experience of delivering internal communications plans, identifying new ways to communicate with colleagues, and the ability to analyse sector trends and best practices to optimise the charities internal communications outputs.

Leading and coordinating the delivery of internal communications across various platforms, including Workplace, email newsletters, intranet, events, town halls and other channels.

Creating original and engaging content and campaigns tailored for internal audiences to support organisational initiatives, updates, and announcements.

Advising on new platforms and channels to enhance the effectiveness of internal communications.

Coordinating and leading the execution of content for major internal meetings.

Experience of guiding and supporting colleagues to use internal communication channels and platforms effectively.

Demonstrated ability to assess internal communication performance and adjust methods and content for optimum engagement and effectiveness.

Experience of regularly reviewing and analysing feedback from staff to ensure continuous improvement in internal communication practices.

You Must Have:

Significant experience in internal communications or a related field.

Track record of growing engagement with internal channels, ideally in the conservation sector.

Strong editorial judgement and the ability to create high-quality, impactful content tailored for internal audiences.

Proven track record in developing and implementing internal communication strategies and initiatives.

Proficient in internal comms measurement and evaluation.

A meticulous eye for detail, with the ability to tailor communications to audience needs and distil complex information into simple, clear, compelling messages.

Experience using design and photography tools for content (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva).

Capacity to work independently as well as part of an international team, collaborating remotely across time zones.

Excellent knowledge of collaborative working with Google's suite of projects.

Working knowledge of French, Malagasy, Kiswahili, Indonesian and Portuguese desirable.

Experience with content management systems like WordPress and digital asset management systems like Swivle.
