About Popejoy HallPopejoy Hall is the premiere performing arts center in New Mexico. Seating up to 1985 patrons, Popejoy is the largest multi-purpose venue in the state. Following a major renovation in 1996, Popejoy hosts touring Broadway shows, symphony concerts, musical soloists and artists of international caliber, world-renowned ballet, modern dance companies, and noted speakers from a broad spectrum of disciplines.About Social Media at Popejoy Hall and the Marketing Intern PositionIn our daily roles, we wear many hats: writers, creators, and listeners. We are dedicated to understanding and promoting Popejoy Hall’s diverse season lineup. Our primary responsibility is to serve as a key communication channel for Popejoy Hall patrons. This position involves outreach, customer service, and some weekend and evening hours.About YOUYou speak your mind, ask questions, and find joy in sourcing and creating content that inspires and engages others. Most importantly, you love live performances and are passionate about sharing the arts with the community!What you’ll do day-to-day:
Write social media campaignsEdit social media campaignsAdd images to social media campaigns (Resizing of images included)Schedule social media campaigns when approvedInstagram outreach including ticket giveawaysSubscription/Thank you calls to patronsIdentify, create, and capture shareable moments related to Popejoy’s community on social mediaMonitor content from other markets to help ensure quality control and up to date contentWrite press releasesCreate calendar listings as well as Facebook EventsMonitor Popejoy Hall social media platforms for comments or concernsCover social media during performancesTable at outreach eventsSubmit a Cover Letter, Resume, and a short writing sample.Check out our social media platforms:• Instagram: @popejoypresents• Twitter: @popejoy• FB: Popejoy Presents• FB: Popejoy HallMinimum Qualifications
