09AAbout This Role:This position works directly with teaching faculty, providing guidance on evidence-based best practices and teaching tools to advance the development of technology-enhanced curriculum including online, hybrid and face-to-face courses/programs. This position works collaboratively with faculty, colleagues, and the Student Access Center to provide expertise in the planning, development and delivery of high-quality credit and noncredit learning experiences. This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring manager.• One to three years of relevant experience.Preferred Qualifications:• Master's degree in instructional design, education or related field.• Knowledge of principles and practice of instructional design in addition to pedagogy and andragogy.• Knowledge of inclusive pedagogies and design.• Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competency (CPACC).• Experience performing the duties above in a post-secondary environment including online, classroom-based and blended/hybrid courses.• Experience with typical instructional design software and systems including LMS (e.g. Blackboard Learn, Canvas) and related software (e.g., web conferencing), online development tools (e.g., Adobe CS), and other instructional tools (e.g., Camtasia, Articulate).• Strong commitment to faculty and student success.• Experience facilitating individual and group training.• Proven record of organizational and administrative skills including the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.• Experience effectively working and communicating with a variety of constituents.• Excellent judgment, including sensitivity to personal and confidential information.Other Requirements:• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.How to Apply:Please submit the following documents:• Cover letter addressing your qualifications and skills related to the position• Resume or curriculum vita listing education and employment history• Three professional references including name, address, phone number (mobile number if appropriate) and email addressScreening of Applications Begins:For best consideration, apply by Sept 3, 2024.Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:$51,000-$61,000Kansas State University is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
