Micron Commercial Products Group (CPG) is a division of Micron, one of the world’s largest memory and flash storage manufacturers. Based out of Meridian, Idaho with more international locations, the CPG marketing department provides support for Micron and Crucial branded products selling to large channel partners and advises via the crucial.com website where it has a strong presence in North America, Europe, and Asia.

We are recruiting for an exciting position within our Digital Strategy & Experience team, a Lead UX Designer who has extensive experience within the ecommerce industry and has experience working with AEM, Adobe Target, and Adobe Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for conceptualizing creative ideas with digital strategy, marketing, and the customers operations teams.

Conduct usability testing to improve the user experience of products and features on websites.

Identify customer pain points and craft wireframes showcasing interactive flows, information architecture, and designs to combat those challenges.

Craft wireframes to demonstrate outstanding user experience including interaction flows, information architecture, and designs.

Present design ideas and prototypes to the UI designer and developers.

Establish design guidelines, standards, and best practices.

Follow up on the performance of the executed designs based on conversion rate, A/B Testing, and user heat map tools.

Maintain an active eye on the market including new product releases and trends.

Use analytics together with a commercial attitude to deliver against meaningful business metrics.

Test and improve the design of the website by incorporating functionalities.

Prepare design plans and present the website structure.

Provide quantitative and qualitative research for design metrics.

Qualifications and Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Psychology, or related field in Interaction and Communication design.

5 to 7 years of experience within the UX field in web crafting for E-Commerce, B2B, and Marketing.

Proficient with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, and hands-on experience with graphic design software.

Detail-oriented and able to manage time across several projects simultaneously.

Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, design standards, usability, research best practices, and design technologies.

Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.

Understanding of web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Understanding of content management systems, search engine optimization principles, and cross-browser compatibility issues.

Excellent interpersonal skills.
